To celebrate the premiere of Sharknado 3 on Syfy tonight at 10pm, we caught up with stars Jedward for a chat during their recent visit to London.
While the pair were coy about the extent of their appearance in the hit disaster films, they were enthusiastic about the film and ambitious about their future as actors. Edward said: “I hope J.K. Rowling is watching, and gives us the next Harry Potter spinoff!”
Asked how they thought they would fare in a real life sharknado, Edward said: “I think everyone would be running around the place trying to get selfies with us, so we wouldn’t be able to escape the sharknado.”
John added: “Yeah! It’s like “Ahhhhhhhh!!! … Oh, it’s Jedward? Let’s just get a picture real quick”..”
The twins are proud to have appeared in the hit cult franchise, claiming, “it’s like a status thing. Other celebrities have Rolexes and stuff, but we’ve been in Sharknado.”
